NBA Flow Charts 1.0
Hey, a non-iPhone post!

I read a lot of Baseball Weekly as a kid and every so often they’d have a feature listing a team’s roster and noting how each player on that roster was acquired. Every issue that contained one of these sidebars was a treasure to me.
After I got over Baseball Weekly, I began to read Athlon Sports’ Pro Football annual preview (which seems...

Google Voice for Mobile Browsers the Latest Move...
Today’s announcement of a mobile website version of Google Voice marks Google’s second bypass of Apple’s App Store and its approval process.
At Apple’s request, Google released a mobile web version of Latitude last July after developing a native app that Apple wasn’t interested in approving. Google’s native Voice app was held in purgatory this Summer as well...

25% of apps were paid. I find this sad for one reason: in my experience, paid apps are better. Not...

The Apple Tablet's Linchpin
marco:
Dan Moren, nicely expressing my biggest concern with any Apple “Tablet” that even slightly resembles everyone’s guesses:
Wait, wait, wait. We’re talking about a revolutionary new device that will let you watch videos, play music, and probably even control your own squadron of death robots (not included), and I’m worried about something as mundane as text entry?
Well, yeah.
Text entry...

“The best camera is the one you have with you.”
I don’t think Chase Jarvis coined the phrase, but it fits perfectly with his interview about mobile phone cameras. While Jarvis developed The Best Camera iPhone app, he remains platform-agnostic in his encouragement of everyone to snap away with whatever they have in hand.
